Abstract:
Provided is an organic EL device capable of ensuring safety, as a result of automatic emission of afterglow illumination even if power supply is disrupted as a result of a power outage or lights being extinguished, etc. This organic EL device (100) is characterized by: including a first substrate (110), an organic EL element (120), and a charge storage unit (130); and having the organic EL element (120) and the charge storage unit (130) formed on one surface of the first substrate (110).
