Abstract:

Provided are an organic EL device and a method for manufacturing organic EL device capable of high light-emission yield and improved long-term stability. An organic EL device (100) includes a conductive substrate (101). An inorganic insulating layer (102) is laminated on the surface of the conductive substrate (101), and an organic insulating layer (103) is laminated on the inorganic insulating layer (102). An organic EL element (110) is provided on the organic insulating layer (103), and a seal material (150) for sealing the organic insulating layer (103) and the organic EL element (110) is also provided. The organic insulating layer (103) is arranged inside the seal material (150).
