Abstract:

A paper sheet binding device comprises: a binding unit (22) for binding paper sheets to be bound with a binding band to form a paper sheet bundle; a stamping unit (71) for stamping a stamp mark on the binding band of the paper sheet bundle; a storage unit (180) for storing an association between a kind of the paper sheets and a stamping position of the stamp mark on the binding band or on the paper sheets; and a control unit (170) which refers to the association to obtain the stamping position of the stamp mark corresponding to the kind of the paper sheets to be bound, and, on the basis of the stamping position obtained, adjusts the positional relationship between the stamp mark and the binding band or the paper sheet bundle when the stamp mark is stamped.
