Abstract:
Provided is a parking assistance device capable of improving convenience of a driver of an own vehicle by calculating a parking path on the basis of reliability of obstacle information acquired by a sensor mounted in the own vehicle, when the parking path to be followed by the own vehicle is calculated. The parking assistance device 10 is provided with: an obstacle information analysis unit 303 which recognizes the outside from external information detected by a camera 2 and a sonar 3 which acquire external information; and a parking path calculation unit 304 which calculates a parking path of an own vehicle 1 on the basis of information on an external obstacle recognized by the obstacle information analysis unit 303, wherein the parking path calculation unit 304 sets the distance between an obstacle and the own vehicle 1 in the parking path according to the level of the reliability of the obstacle information.
