Abstract:
A pixel circuit for a silicon-based AMOLED drive chip, comprising a drive transistor MN2, a switch tube MN1, a switch tube MP2, and a storage capacitor C2. The switch tube MP2 is a p-type MOS transistor. Both the drive transistor MN2 and the switch tube MN1 are n-type MOS transistors. A drain of the switch tube MP2 is connected to a forward end of an input voltage source Vdata. A source of the switch tube MP2, a gate of the drive transistor MN2, and a drain of the switch tube MN1 are all connected to one end of the capacitor C2. A source of the switch tube MN1 is connected to a ground GND. A gate of the switch tube MN1 is connected to an external control signal SEL1. A gate of the switch tube MP2 is connected to a row selection control signal SEL2. A reverse end of the voltage source Vdata and the other end of the capacitor C2 are connected to the ground GND. A drain of the drive transistor MN2 is connected to a voltage VDD. A source of the drive transistor MN2 is connected to an anode of an OLED. A cathode of the OLED is connected to a voltage Vcom. According to the present invention, the switch tube is used for achieving brightening, which is simple in structure and can save the area, and the adjustable range is large.
