Abstract:
This pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car has a cross-sectional width SW of the tire and an outer diameter OD of the tire that satisfy a prescribed relationship, and has, on a tread surface of a tread, only two circumferential-direction main grooves that extend in a tire circumferential direction, wherein the center of gravity of the circumferential-direction main grooves is positioned inside during vehicle installation on one half of one side in the tread width direction, the boundary of which is the tire equatorial plane. The drop height (or ground length relationship, or tread gauge relationship) satisfies a prescribed value.
