Abstract:
In a pneumatic radial tire for a passenger vehicle according to the present invention, the cross-sectional width SW of a tire and the outer diameter OD of the tire satisfy a predetermined relationship, a tread surface of a tread has only one circumferential main groove extending in the circumferential direction of the tire, and the circumferential main groove is provided in half on one side in the tread width direction, which is the outer side when the tire is mounted on a vehicle, with respect to a tire equatorial plane, serving as a boundary. The drop height (or the relationship of the ground contact length, or the relationship of the tread gauge) is set to a predetermined value.
