Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of battery separators. Specifically, disclosed is a polyolefin microporous membrane of which the membrane thickness is 2-30 μm, the puncture strength is 1000-2000 gf, the tensile strength in direction MD is 3200-5000 kgf/cm2, the tensile strength in direction TD is 2800-4800 kgf/cm2, the porosity is 40% to 57%, the maximum pore diameter is 33-48 nm, the gas permeation rate is 10-400 s/100 mL, the impedance is 0.3-0.9 Ω/cm2, a manufacturing system therefor, a coated separator using the base membrane, and an electrochemical apparatus. The polyolefin microporous membrane of the present invention is provided with excellent properties and, with the thickness, tensile strength, puncture strength, air permeability, porosity, and thermal shrinkage thereof satisfying applications having high requirements on the thickness and mechanical strength of the microporous membrane, is very suitable for use in the field of power lithium-ion battery separators.
