Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to enable the position in which a user is present to be estimated simply and rapidly.
If a grip detecting unit 122 detects that a mobile terminal 100, which is gripped by at least one hand when being used by a user and has a camera 130 on a surface facing the ceiling when being used by the user, is being gripped by a hand in order to be used by the user, an estimating unit 240 uses an image of the ceiling acquired by capturing an image of the ceiling using the camera 130 to estimate the position in which the ceiling is present as the position in which the user is present.
