Abstract:

A power control device and method according to an embodiment of the present invention may detect a voltage change in a DC link unit by monitoring output power of a PCS, and control output power of a battery by comparing the output power of the PCS with rated power of the battery, thereby preventing voltage fluctuation of the DC link unit to provide stabilization of an energy storage system.
