Abstract:
Provided is a product for the prevention or treatment of coronavirus, comprising containing sodium chloride or sea salt. The virus is a coronavirus and/or an influenza virus, and further, said coronavirus is SARS-CoV-2. Experimental results clearly indicate that the alkaline nasal irrigant can effectively clean the novel coronavirus from the mucosal cells of the nasal cavity and the paranasal sinus, and also inhibits the replication and reproduction of the novel coronavirus in the mucosal cells. The alkaline nasal irrigant provides a new effective and simple measure and method for preventing and treating novel coronavirus pneumonia and influenza.
