Abstract:
Provided are a program file check method and apparatus, a server, and a terminal. The program file check method which is applied to a server can comprise: after establishing a communication connection with a terminal, obtaining a version number of an application program package; obtaining a random number directed at the application program package; according to the random number and a file content of a pre-set file to be checked in the application program package having the version number that is pre-stored by a server itself, generating a first hash value using a pre-determined hash algorithm; sending the random number to the terminal, so that the terminal generates, according to the random number and the file content of a pre-set file to be checked in a local application program package of the terminal, a second hash value using the pre-determined hash algorithm; obtaining relevant information about the second hash value generated by the terminal; and determining an integrity check result of the pre-set file to be checked within the terminal. It can be seen that the present solution can improve the accuracy rate of checking the integrity of an application file.
