Abstract:
A refrigerator control application (213) causes a terminal control unit (20) of a terminal device (2) that is capable of communicating with a refrigerator (1) via a global network (GN) to function as: a detection unit (202) that detects whether a user of the refrigerator (1) is located in a retail establishment where food products can be obtained; and an operation control unit (203) that causes the refrigerator (1) to start precooling if the detection unit (202) has detected that the user is located in a retail establishment, and does not cause the refrigerator (1) to start precooling if the detection unit (202) has detected that the user is not located in a retail establishment.
