Abstract:
A first operation signal output unit (327) outputs an operation signal for operating a protection device (21) in the case of satisfaction of both a first condition, that output of a collision sensor exceeds a collision determination threshold value, and a second condition, that an object recognition result includes a protection target and that a pre-crash signal has been obtained. A supplementary condition determination unit (324) determines whether or not supplementary conditions are satisfied, which include at least a condition corresponding to a state of collision or state of possible collision between an object and the vehicle. A second operation signal output unit (328) outputs an operation signal in the case that the supplementary condition determination unit has determined that the supplementary condition is satisfied.
