Abstract:
The present invention relates to a platinum (Pt)-molybdenum (Mo) catalyst for synthesis of hydrogen and a method of preparing hydrogen using same, the catalyst for synthesis of hydrogen according to the present invention comprising: a porous carrier; platinum carried in fine pores of the porous carrier; and molybdenum carried in mixture with the platinum in the fine pores. According to the present invention, hydrogen can be effectively obtained from a liquid organic hydrogen storage since dehydrogenation activity is significantly improved even at a low temperature by carrying platinum and molybdenum in a mixed state in the porous carrier.
