Abstract:
A radio communication device having a retransmission control function includes: judging
means for transmitting a first packet to a transmission partner and judging whether
a result of an error detection performed by the communication partner for the
first packet is a positive acknowledgement or a negative acknowledgement; request
means for requesting for a subsequent second packet from an upper-node layer
if the error detection result is a positive acknowledgement; and means for sending
dummy data as the subsequent second packet to the communication partner if the
first packet is a final packet. If the judgment that the error detection result
is the positive acknowledgment is incorrect, the communication partner sends
a system frame number used when transmitting the dummy data and the first packet
is retransmitted.
