A range-fining communication complex system in which a range-finding function and a communication function are combined and signals are integrally processed. The range-finding communication complex system (1) comprises a transmitting unit (2) and a receiving unit (3), and two functions, i.e., a range-finding function and a communication function are integrated. The transmitting unit (2) is composed of a transmitting circuit (4), carrier modulating means (5), and a transmitting antenna (6). The receiving unit (3) is composed of a receiving circuit (7), a detector (8), a low-noise amplifier (LNA) (9), and a receiving antenna (10). Data modulation is carried out by the transmitting circuit (4) by PPM. In the receiving circuit (7), a range-finding circuit (11) and a communication circuit (12) are separately provided to enable parallel demodulation for range finding and communication.
