Abstract:
A refrigerator according to the present invention comprises: trays forming ice-making cells; a cooling unit for supplying cool air to the ice-making cells; a water supply valve for controlling the flow of water to the ice-making cells; and a control unit for controlling the water supply valve, wherein the water supply valve is controlled so that the cool air from the cooling unit is supplied to the ice-making cells before the water supply valve is turned on, and water is supplied to to the ice-making cells after cool air is supplied thereto.
