Abstract:
The present invention includes: an elevator control device (200) that drives and controls an elevator (20); and a remote recovery device (300) that communicates with the elevator control device (200) and causes the elevator control device (200) to perform a failure recovery operation for the elevator (20). The remote recovery device (300) includes a maintenance database (370) in which at least specifications for the elevator (20), characteristics of a building (10) in which the elevator (20) is installed, a maintenance inspection history for the elevator (20), a repair history for the elevator (20), and a failure history for the elevator (20) are stored. Upon receiving a failure signal from the elevator control device (200), the remote recovery device (300) refers to the maintenance database (370) and prohibits a recovery operation for the elevator (20) if a predetermined specific condition applies to the elevator (20) or the building (10). Thus, improved elevator service can be achieved.
