Abstract:
A rice ball producing implement capable of easily producing a suitably compacted, nice-looking, packed rice ball. Two vessels (3, 3) are openably/closably connected through a bend (5). Each vessel (3) is composed by projectingly providing a vertical wall (10) along the outer peripheral edge of a base piece (9) on one side. The height of the respective upper edges (20) of two lateral vertical walls (16, 16) constituting the vertical wall (10) is gradually increased toward the front end. When the two vessels (3, 3) are bent to be closed, the lateral vertical wall (16a) and front end vertical wall (19a) of one vessel (3a) overlap the inner side of the lateral vertical wall (16b) and the inner side of the front end vertical wall (19b) of the other vessel (3b).
