Abstract:
Provided are a rolling flat die for a screw component the life of which can be increased and a rolling working method using this rolling flat die for a screw component. The rolling flat die for a screw component is provided with a first partially chamfered surface 15 having a slope of an angle α with respect to a finish surface 13 and a second partially chamfered surface 16 formed between the first partially chamfered surface 15 and the finish surface 13 and having a slope with an angle β with respect to the finish surface 13. The peak angle θ1 for a working tooth 31 at a rolling start point 17 on the first partially chamfered surface 15 is larger than the peak angle θ2 for the working tooth 31 on the finish surface 13. Thus, the load applied to the die 10, 50 can be reduced, and the life of the rolling flat die 1 can be increased.
