Abstract:
A rotating tool based on a non-limiting embodiment of this disclosure has a body that extends from a first end toward a second end along the axis of rotation. The body has a cutting portion and a channel that is located inside the body. The cutting portion comprises a first groove and a first ridge. The first groove extends in a helical manner from a first blade to the second end side. The first ridge is a ridge between the first groove and the outer circumferential face that is adjacent to the first groove behind same in the direction of rotation. The channel has a first auxiliary channel that extends from the main channel to the second end side. A first angle formed by the axis of rotation and the first auxiliary channel is smaller than the spiral angle formed by the axis of rotation and the first ridge.
