Abstract:
A rubber-metal composite in which a metal material is embedded in a rubber composition has been conventionally used for rubber articles that require strength with the aim of reinforcing the rubber and improving the strength and durability thereof. The present invention relates to a rubber composition which has excellent initial adhesiveness and heat-resistant adhesiveness with a metal material and which is to be used mainly for the rubber-metal composite, and more particularly to a rubber composition which comprises 0.0025 to 0.05 parts by mass of a cobalt compound with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component in terms of cobalt.
