Abstract:
A satellite radio-controlled watch comprising: a reception unit (20) that receives satellite radio waves including time information and position information; a storage unit (32) that stores intersection point information indicating the positions of intersection points of a reference line along a great circle orthogonal to a specific great circle of the earth, or a reference line along the specific great circle of the earth or a circle parallel to the great circle, and a boundary line of a time zone, and time difference section information of a region which is a wedge-shaped or belt-shaped region adjacent to the reference line and to which the intersection points belong; and a time zone determination unit (31a) that, on the basis of the position information, the intersection point information and the time difference section information, determines the time zone.
