Abstract:
A shift device 1 is provided with: a housing 3; an operation lever 2 which is supported by the housing in a freely oscillatable manner; and a lock mechanism 5 which restricts the movement operation of the operation lever 2 at the home position thereof, wherein the lock mechanism 5 restricts the movement operation of the operation lever or releases the restriction, as a result of the movement operation of a tubular slide member 50 which is attached so as to be freely movable in the axial direction along the outer periphery of the operation lever 2.
