Abstract:
The present technology relates to a signal processing device, a signal processing method, and a program capable of preventing buffer overflow at a receiving device-side, even when the compression ratio of the incoming encoded data varies with communication conditions during reproducing of incoming encoded data in real time. A receiving buffer buffers the incoming encoded audio data when the quantity of the coded data buffered in the receiving buffer is managed per processing unit according to a coding system. The present technology can be applied to a real-time content reproduction system using a communication system.
