Abstract:
Provided are silver nanoparticles which have such a property that a sintered body produced by sintering the silver nanoparticles at a low temperature (e.g., 200°C or lower) has high shear strength and a small specific resistance value in spite of the fact that the silver nanoparticles have an average particle diameter of as large as 200 nm or more. Silver nanoparticles having an average particle diameter of 200 to 600 nm, and also having such a property that an exothermic peak coming from the bonding between the silver nanoparticles appears at a temperature lower than 175°C in thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis and the weight loss upon the heating from 30°C to 500°C in thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis is 0.4% by weight or less.
