Abstract:
A single-port surface acoustic wave resonator in which frequency variation can be reduced while improving the Q-value in antiresonance frequency. The single-port surface acoustic wave resonator (1) comprises a rotary Y cut LiTaO3 substrate (2), an interdigital electrode (3) formed on the LiTaO3 substrate (2), and reflectors (4, 5) provided on the opposite sides of the interdigital electrode (3) in the propagating direction of surface wave. Assuming the width of the electrode finger of the interdigital electrode (3) is a, and the gap between the electrode fingers is b, metallization ratio a/(a+b) is set in the range of 0.55-0.85 and the interdigital electrode (3) is subjected to cross width weighting.
