Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sludge discharge control device, a water treatment system, and a sludge discharge control method with which it is possible to suppress accumulation of inorganic matter inside a biological treatment tank while suppressing the quantity of excess sludge. This water treatment system 100 is provided with: a sludge-containing treatment-water-sending pump 13 that sends sludge-containing treatment water 5 to a biological treatment tank 1, the sludge-containing treatment water 5 having been subject to ozone treatment by an ozone reactor 10; a solid-liquid separation tank 6 that separates the sludge-containing treatment water 5 into treatment water 7 and concentrated sludge 8; a concentrated-sludge-sending pump 9 that sends some of the concentrated sludge 8 to the biological treatment tank 1; a concentrated-sludge-discharging pump 15 that discharges excess concentrated sludge 8 to outside of the system as excess sludge; and a sludge discharge control device 14 that controls the discharging of the excess sludge. The sludge discharge control device 14 is provided with an ozone treatment start detection unit 141 that detects the start of the ozone treatment, and a sludge discharge command unit 145 that causes the concentrated-sludge-discharging pump 15 to start discharging the excess sludge after the ozone treatment start detection unit 141 has detected the start of the ozone treatment.
