Abstract:
A disclosed solid electrolytic capacitor element 12 includes an anode section 13 disposed on one end side and a cathode section 14 disposed on the other end side. The cathode section 14 has a pair of main surfaces 15, a pair of side surfaces 16 that connect the pair of main surfaces 15 and extend along a direction connecting one end and the other end, and a first end surface 18 that connects the pair of main surfaces 15 and is located at the other end. At least one side surface 16 has at least one recess 17 including a first end portion 17a on one end side and a second end portion 17b on the other end side. When the distance between one end and the other end is L1, the distance D1 between the first end surface 18 and the second end portion 17b is 0.05L1 or more. As a result, the airtightness of the solid electrolytic capacitor can be improved.
