Abstract:
The solid oxide fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell unit equipped with a solid oxide fuel cell, which is provided with an anode gas flow path and a cathode gas flow path, and a mixer for mixing an anode off-gas discharged from the anode gas flow path and a cathode off-gas discharged from the cathode gas flow path; an electricity generation source material supply device for supplying electricity generation source material to the fuel cell unit; a combustible gas flow path spanning from the electricity generation source material supply device to the downstream end of the anode gas flow path; an oxidizing agent gas supply device for supplying an oxidizing agent gas to the cathode gas flow path; and a controller whereby, after a stop in electricity generation by the fuel cell unit, the electricity generation source material supply device is controlled to supply to the combustible gas flow path a volume of electricity generation source material equal to or greater than the capacity of the combustible gas flow path, and the oxidizing agent gas supply device is controlled to supply the oxidizing agent gas to the cathode gas flow path.
