This steel sheet for hot stamping has a prescribed chemical composition, and in the metal composition, the pole density of the {112}<110> direction in the plate thickness center exceeds 4.0, ferrite is greater than or equal to 50% by area ratio, and, of all the ferrite, the number ratio of the ferrite that includes a hard phase in the ferrite particles is greater than or equal to 65%.
