Abstract:
A system control unit (11) is provided with a first step for enlarging a stereoscopic image in accordance with a command and causing a display device (23) to display the enlarged stereoscopic image, and a second step for determining whether or not the amount of parallax of the enlarged stereoscopic image displayed on the display device (23) exceeds a threshold value if the stereoscopic image is enlarged at the enlargement factor corresponding to the command. In the first step, in the event of a command to enlarge the stereoscopic image at an enlargement factor whereby the parallax amount is greater than the threshold value, then the enlarged stereoscopic image displayed on the display device (23) after the completion of the command is made to be an enlarged stereoscopic image obtained when the stereoscopic image is enlarged at an enlargement factor used when the parallax amount is not greater than the threshold value.
