Disclosed are a sterilization lamp control method and device used for a sterilization robot. The present invention relates to the field of electrical appliances. The sterilization robot is configured with two operation modes, i.e. a handheld mode and a non-handheld mode, a handheld mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the sterilization robot, and when the sterilization robot meets a handheld operation condition, sterilization lamp arrays (403, 504, 603) in the sterilization robot are triggered to be lit up. The sterilization robot is configured with two operation modes, so that a user can clean different types of areas, thereby expanding the types of cleanable areas for the sterilization robot, improving the cleaning capacity of the sterilization robot, and reducing the waste of resources caused by the user additionally purchasing cleaning tools for different situations.
