Abstract:

A stick-shaped article propelling container that absorbs a variation in the size of a stick-shaped article to allow a contact section to be in contact with the article at an appropriate pressure. The stick-shaped article propelling container has an outer tube (11) having at its front inner periphery a front spring receiver (11a), an inner tube (12) slidably inserted in the outer tube and having formed on its outer periphery a rear spring receiver (12a), a spring (13) allowing its front end to be in contact with the front spring receiver and its rear end to be in contact with the rear spring receiver to urge the inner tube rearward, a chuck (17) adapted so that it can hold the stick-shaped article (16), inserted in the inner tube, at its front end, and a chuck ring (18). A ring member (21) is provided between the front end of the spring (13) and the front spring receiver (11a), and the rear end of an elastic piece (22) extending along the stick-shaped article is provided at the ring member. A contact section (23) is formed at the front end of the elastic piece, and the contact section (23) is made to be in contact with the stick-shaped article (16) by elasticity of the elastic piece (22). An engagement piece for preventing forward movement of the ring member is provided either at the inner ring in which the ring member is fitted or at the chuck.
