Abstract:
The surface material for absorbent materials according to the present invention has a skin-side surface and a non-skin-side surface. The surface material for absorbent materials has a first layer and a second layer. The first layer comprises fiber aggregates constituting the skin-side surface. The second layer is positioned more toward the non-skin side than the first layer and comprises fiber aggregates. The first layer contains a first anti-bacterial agent and a second anti-bacterial agent. The second layer contains a third anti-bacterial agent. Each of the first anti-bacterial agent and the third anti-bacterial agent is a surfactant. The first anti-bacterial agent is contained in a first fiber treatment agent for fibers contained in the first layer. The third anti-bacterial agent is contained in a second fiber treatment agent for fibers contained in the second layer. The second anti-bacterial agent is a metal oxide anti-bacterial agent, and is contained in fibers contained in the first layer. Each of the first anti-bacterial agent and the third anti-bacterial agent has higher solubility in water than the second anti-bacterial agent.
