Abstract:
Provided is a surface-protecting sheet that has good removability and can be adhered easily and properly onto the surface of an object of interest. The surface-protecting sheet provided by the present invention comprises an adhesive agent layer and a supporting base material that supports the adhesive agent layer. The surface-protecting sheet has a ratio of a peel strength (SB) to a peel strength (SA) (i.e., SB/SA) of 5 or less, wherein the peel strength (SA) is determined after the surface-protecting sheet is adhered onto a stainless steel sheet and is then retained at 23˚C for 30 minutes and the peel strength (SB) is determined after the surface-protecting sheet is adhered onto a stainless steel sheet and is then retained at 70˚C for 168 hours. The surface-protecting sheet has a self-adhesion peel strength of 5 N/25 mm or less when the adhesive agent layers are bonded to each other and are then torn from each other 1 minute after the bonding.
