Abstract:
A tire position determination system includes a plurality of tire air pressure transmitters (4) that are installed in association with a plurality of tires (2) and that detect arrival at a specific position on a tire rotation trajectory of a corresponding tire. A vehicle (1) includes a position determination unit (23) that acquires a plurality of sets of axle rotation information corresponding to the specific position for each tire air pressure transmitter, and that determines a tire position by identifying the tire that rotates in synchronism with the axle rotation information of each axle, and a period calculation unit (24) that calculates a single rotation period of each axle on the basis of the axle rotation information of each axle. The vehicle (1) also includes an adequacy determination unit (25) that determines adequacy of accuracy of gravitational force sampling on the basis of the single rotation period of each axle, a gravitational force sampling interval time indicating a sampling interval of a gravitational force component acting on each tire air pressure transmitter, and the number of times of gravitational force sampling per single rotation period of each axle. The position determination unit (23) determines the tire position in view of a determination result from the adequacy determination unit.
