Abstract:

A tire of the present invention includes: a carcass toroidally extending between a pair of bead portions; a belt layer disposed on an outer side in a tire radial direction of a crown portion of the carcass; and a belt reinforcement layer disposed on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the belt layer. The tire has an organic fiber cord coated with an adhesive composition including polyphenols and aldehydes, and is characterized in that, when a tire width direction region centered on the equatorial plane of the tire and having a tire-width-direction width that is two-thirds of the length between ground contact edges is denoted as a center region and a tire width direction region between the ground contact edges on the outer side in the tire width direction of the center region is denoted as a shoulder region, the tensile elasticity modulus of the belt reinforcement layer in the center region is smaller than the tensile elasticity modulus of the belt reinforcement layer in the shoulder region.
