Abstract:

An ultraviolet light-emitting device according to an embodiment disclosed herein comprises: a light-emitting structure including a plurality of light-emitting units disposed on a first conductive semiconductor layer, wherein the plurality of light-emitting units include an active layer and a second conductive semiconductor layer; a first contact electrode disposed on the first conductive semiconductor layer; a second contact electrode disposed on the second conductive semiconductor layer; a first cover electrode disposed on the first contact electrode; and a second cover electrode disposed on the second contact electrode. The light-emitting structure includes an intermediate layer formed in an etched region in which the first conductive semiconductor layer is exposed, the intermediate layer has a lower aluminum content than the first conductive semiconductor layer, the intermediate layer includes first intermediate regions disposed between the plurality of light-emitting units, and second intermediate regions surrounding the edges of the first conductive semiconductor layer and connected to both ends of the plurality of first intermediate regions, and the first contact electrode includes a first sub-electrode disposed on the first intermediate region and a second sub-electrode disposed on the second intermediate region.
