Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a valve device, and an assembly method for said valve device, with which it is possible to effectively suppress a decrease in the efficiency of ultrasonic welding in a passage and to increase the rigidity of the passage. [Solution] In a passage switching valve (1), a first passage (11) comprises: a linear first portion (11a) connected to a valve body (10); a linear second portion (11b) connected so as to be perpendicular to the first portion (11a); and a cover member (11c) bonded so as to block an opening of an end (11a1) of the first portion (11a). The first passage (11) further comprises: a pair of protrusions (11d, 11d) arranged opposite one another so as to have the first portion (11a) radially therebetween; and a linking part (11e) that links the pair of protrusions (11d, 11d). The pair of protrusions (11d, 11d) are provided with a flat surface part (11f) facing the valve body (10).
