Abstract:
A vehicle control device according to the present disclosure comprises: a driving source (2) mounted in a vehicle (1); a differential device (3) that distributes a driving force generated by the driving source (2) to right drive wheels and left drive wheels; a speed sensor (7) that detects the rotation speed of the driving source (2); and a pair of vehicle wheel speed sensors (8, 9) that detect the rotation speeds of the right driving wheels and the left driving wheels. In addition, the vehicle control device further comprises a control device (10) which, when at least one of the pair of the vehicle wheel speed sensors (8, 9) fails, sets an index value obtained by multiplying the rotation speed of the driving source (2) by a predetermined coefficient, and controls torque output from the driving source (2) on the basis of the index value.
