Abstract:
A vehicle lamp system 1 is provided with: a vehicle lamp 2 that forms a light distribution pattern including a cut-off line in an area forward of a vehicle; an imaging device 4 that captures an image of the forward area; and a light distribution control device 6 that adjusts the position of the cut-off line on the basis of an image IMG captured by the imaging device 4. The light distribution control device 6 includes: a control execution unit 26 that executes following control in which the position of the cut-off line is caused to follow displacement of the lowermost light spot among light spots originating from a lamp of a vehicle ahead included in the image IMG; and a control regulating unit 28 that regulates the following when the light spot has displaced at a speed greater than or equal to a predetermined speed during the following control.
