Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vinyl chloride-based polymer having improved thermal stability and a preparation method therefor. According to the present invention, the vinyl chloride-based polymer comprises a unit derived from a silicate compound so as to enable a dehydrochlorination reaction thereof caused by heat or UV rays to be inhibited, thereby enabling discoloration or the deterioration of physical properties to be be prevented by improving thermal stability. Therefore, according to the present invention, the vinyl chloride-based polymer and a preparation method therefor can be readily applied to industries requiring a vinyl chloride-based polymer, such as the industry associated with vinyl chloride-based resins and molded products.
