Abstract:
Disclosed are a volute fan and a fan system using same. The volute fan comprises a volute (1) and a wind wheel (2), wherein the volute (1) comprises an upper end face plate (11), a lower end face plate (12), and a side face plate (13) connected between the upper end face plate (11) and the lower end face plate (12), with the upper end face plate (11), the lower end face plate (12) and the side face plate (13) enclosing a cavity (14), the wind wheel (2) being mounted in the cavity (14), the lower end face plate (12) being provided with a first air inlet (15), and the side face plate (13) being provided with a first air outlet (16); and the wind wheel (2) comprises an upper wind plate (21), a lower wind plate (22), and several blades (23) connected between the upper wind plate (21) and the lower wind plate (22), the middle of the lower wind plate (22) being provided with a second air inlet (24), an air channel (25) being formed between two adjacent blades (23), the first air inlet (15), the second air inlet (24), the air channel (25) and the first air outlet (16) being in communication with the cavity (14), each blade (23) comprising an inner blade segment (231) and an outer blade segment (232), the blade (23) that radially extends beyond the upper wind plate (21) being in the outer blade segment (232), the blade that is located within the second air inlet (24) being in the inner blade segment (231), and the distance H1 between a top face (2321) of the outer blade segment (232) and a first inner side face (111) of the upper end face plate (11) gradually increasing from inside to outside in a radial direction. The volute fan can avoid flow separation loss and sudden changes in the flow velocity and pressure, and can also avoid turbulent flow and noise and vibration.
