Abstract:
A water heater and a control method. The water heater comprises a control unit (7), a heating unit (4), a water flow detection unit and a temperature sensor (14), and further comprises a pump (5), a water flow adjusting and switching device (3), an instant heating channel (3d1), a water suctioning channel and a non-return device. The non-return device is mounted on the water suctioning channel; the water flow adjusting and switching device (3) is used for at least one of adjustment of a water flow size and switching of water flow paths; and the pump (5) is mounted on the instant heating channel (3d1) or the water suctioning channel, and is used for one or more of pumping of hot water, water outlet pressurization and zero cold water circulation. The control method for the water heater comprises the following steps: acquiring temperature, water volume and water flow state information of the water heater; multiplying two parameters, i.e., the temperature of an inner container and the water volume of the inner container, to obtain a product n; comparing each temperature value and the water volume of the water heater and the product n with related preset values; and controlling the working state of an execution element according to a comparison result and a water flow state.
