Abstract:
This water supply device for exhaust gas treatment comprises: a collection pipe that collects condensed water generated from combustion gas pressurized and compressed by a supercharger and cooled by a cooler, and collects the gas pressure of the combustion gas after the cooling; a condensed water chamber that stores the condensed water through the collection pipe and accumulates the gas pressure; and a water supply pipe that causes the condensed water chamber and a supply destination device for the condensed water to communicate with each other. The supply destination device is disposed at a position where a head difference between the water level of the condensed water chamber and the outlet water level of the water supply pipe is equal to or less than a head difference corresponding to a reference engine load which is a reference for starting the operation of an EGR device. The condensed water is pressure-fed from the condensed water chamber via the water supply pipe to the supply destination device by using the gas pressure corresponding to scavenging pressure.
