Abstract:
This wireless communication device is a wireless communication device mounted on a vehicle and corresponding to a plurality of emergency notification methods. The wireless communication device comprises: a wireless communication unit which performs wireless communication; and a control unit which provides an emergency notification via the wireless communication unit, when a vehicle accident occurs. The control unit specifies an area to which the wireless communication device belongs, when the vehicle accident occurs. The control unit selects one emergency notification method from the plurality of emergency notification methods, on the basis of the specified area. The control unit makes the emergency notification by using the one selected emergency notification method.
