Abstract:
Provided is a wireless communication system in which a wireless communication apparatus, while being in a standby state with respect to transmission or reception of radio frames, can halt the standby state if the other end of communication cannot transmit ID. A transmission source wireless communication apparatus (1) comprises: a transmission time total integration unit that integrates transmission times, per unit time, of radio frames; a transmission time estimation/integration unit that estimates and integrates future transmission times, per unit time, of wireless device number frames; a transmission limitation time estimation unit that uses the two integration results to estimate a total over-limitation estimation time and a total under-limitation estimation time; and a transmission control unit that notifies a transmission destination wireless communication apparatus (2) of the two estimation times. The transmission destination wireless communication apparatus (2) comprises: a reception control unit that uses the two estimation times to determine a reception halt of the radio frames from the transmission source wireless communication apparatus (1); and a transmission control unit that uses the two estimation times to determine a transmission halt of radio frames to the transmission source wireless communication apparatus (1).
