Title:
PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018037654
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element having superior durability when the concentration of polyhalide ions in an electrolyte is low.SOLUTION: In a photoelectric conversion element, a photoelectric conversion cell 50 includes an electrolyte 40 filling a cell space formed by an electrode substrate 10, a counter substrate 20, and a sealing part 30. The electrolyte 40 includes a redox pair consisting of a halide ion and a polyhalide ion. The concentration of polyhalide ions in the electrolyte 40 is 0.05 M or less. As to the photoelectric conversion element, R represented by the following expression (1) is 0.00040-0.00200 cm(STP)/(day mL): R=v/m(1). (In the expression (1), v represents an oxygen transmission rate (cm(STP)/day) of the sealing part, and m represents an amount (mL) of the electrolyte.)SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
